Yes. All HR application data lives in Hetzner Cloud, Falkenstein and Nuremberg, Germany. Our AI features run on Mistral AI in Paris. Stripe handles subscription billing from Ireland with onward transfer to the United States under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses; that is the only routine onward transfer outside the EU and it sees only billing data (account-owner name, email, billing address, VAT ID, payment tokens), never employee HR data. The full sub-processor list is on the GDPR page and updates as we add or change vendors.
Schrems II already disrupted the legal basis for transferring EU personal data to the United States, and a future Schrems-type ruling mainly affects companies that rely on US providers for personal data. PersoHR is built to avoid that: employee data is hosted in the EU (Hetzner, Germany), AI runs on Mistral in the EU, and Stripe handles billing only. A further ruling on US data transfers therefore has no effect on where your HR data is stored or processed.
Yes, and we do it for free during your trial. Send us a CSV export from your current tool, and we will move employees, leave balances, and key documents across. Most migrations take under a week.
Most companies are up and running in under an hour. Add your team, pick your leave types, and confirm your country settings. The setup wizard walks you through every step, and Perso AI fills in the parts that are usually tedious.
Almost never. Employees use PersoHR in their own language and do the things they already know how to do, like requesting leave or signing a contract. The interface is plain and quiet. There is no 30-minute onboarding video.
Yes. Thirty days, every paid feature, no credit card required. If you do not upgrade, you stay on the Free plan automatically. We do not auto-charge anyone.
No lock-in. Cancel auto-renewal whenever you want. Monthly plans stop at the end of the current month. Annual plans are paid for the year upfront. They run until that year is up, and we don't refund the unused months. That's why the annual rate is 17% cheaper. Once your final billing period ends, you have 90 days to export your data before we delete it. GDPR requires that last bit.
The product itself runs in all 24 official EU languages. The marketing site currently launches in English, German, French, and Dutch, with the remaining 20 EU languages following shortly.
